Priya is a Registered Social Worker (RSW) in good standing with the
British Columbia College of Social Workers (BCCSW). She offers virtual
counselling to clients across British Columbia.
Priya brings experience working with children, families, and adults in
community and clinical settings. She supports clients navigating
anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, life transitions, relationship
challenges, and the impact of trauma. Her background working with
children and families has shaped her understanding of attachment,
emotional development, and the lasting influence of early experiences on
present day patterns.
Janice Noseworthy, MSW, RSW (she/her) is a Registered Social Worker in British Columbia and Saskatchewan (Telehealth only in Saskatchewan). She is passionate about helping individuals and families heal from trauma, strengthen relationships, and find resilience after hardship.
Janice’s approach is evidence-based, trauma-informed, and grounded in warmth and empathy. She draws on attachment theory, family systems, EMDR, and mindfulness-based practices to support clients in building insight, confidence, and connection.
With a background working across community and government settings, Janice has supported children, youth, adults, and families through challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, stress, and intergenerational trauma.
At Ember & Root Therapy, she creates a safe, collaborative space where healing doesn’t erase the past — it grows from it.
